I received my absentee ballot in the mail today. While I know how I'm going to vote for the Presidential, US Senate, and House races, I don't know a thing about the local elections in Montgomery County, MD. Alex is now dancing to Papa Roach, whose video is playing on ZTV right now.

It's rather cute.

Five Minutes Later: The lastest Hives video came on, and Alex started to dance to it, and then realized that they suck and stopped. Good boy. (Not that Papa Roach is much better, of course.)

So, yeah, I went and saw Rush in concert tonight. It was pretty good. I hadn't seen them in seven years, and they hadn't been in Stockholm in twenty-five years, so it was a long time coming. The highlights from the three-and-a-half hour concert were:

Of the 113 pictures I took today, here at home and in the city, not a single one is decent enough to work on for presentation.

Considering my meager talent, my proclivity for playing with halfway-decent images in Photoshop, and pure luck, that's pretty hard to do. I don't think I could repeat that even if I tried.

There are worse places to be stuck overnight, but it appears that my mother will be in Paris for the indefinite future, as her flight to Miami today was cancelled.

Would that I were her.
