i love your words and i've missed them so much & this is the best Christmas present!
i love Adam in this so much. all caretaking needs come out so well, but the fact that he recognizes them & holds them back make it feel so much more real.
and i already want to wrap Tommy up & protect him from the big, bad world, but i want to shake him at the same time & tell him that sometimes he has to trust people enough to let them help.
Oh I'm super intrigued by this, why Tommy is being so stubborn and determined not to let Adam help him, I mean, I understand pride and all, but it's not like Adam's offering him charity, he's offering him a job. I can't wait for more of this.

Adam can't resist Tommy. He likes to help waifish things that need rescuing. Tommy's more than a stray pet, though.
