Is that a *monthly* paycheck? If so, you are well-paid, and I am envious.

(Though, now that I think about it, the cost of living *is* substantially higher there.)

Yes, the most common payment system is monthly. I've long since forgotten what it's like to get more than one paycheck a month.

No, I assumed it wasn't weekly or semi-monthly. I just thought it might be bimonthly or something (which, admittedly, would have been strange, but it *is* Japan.)
