Does everyone have an epiphany about being meant for greatness during their formative years? Does it always happen well one is working some sort of retail-related job or is that just me ( Read more... )

Honestly, to answer your first question - yes, yes they do. As far as I can tell, that is. I was making $4.25 an hour then - that's depressing to think about. And to answer your third question, no, you probably won't get a chance to act on it. And it will make you sad for awhile, until you figure out what you WANT to do with your life (and I'm not just talking about jobs/careers) and you'll realize you'd rather be happy than great.

Where do you work now, by the way?

1. Yes. Only I don't know about greatness. Probably more 'not this' in my case.

2. Retail-related is typical.

3. Life hasn't passed you by, per se. But things have to happen.

4. Probably all of the above.
