Did you hate the original characters I introduced? Are there too many? Is Draco way out of character?

I don't hate any of the original characters. It's still so early on that we haven't really gotten to know them yet, so they haven't had a chance to get annoying or anything. As for their number, well, you have no choice but to come up with a whole new group of people. At that age and in that setting, people do tend to travel in groups, so it rings true to me. Draco seems pretty well in character to me. He's snotty, hates everyone and loathes everything muggle. That's about as in character as you can get! :)

Now I have to go back and reread the first chapter to get back into the story itself. I am definitely looking forward to finding out what happens next.

Thanks for your lovely, in-depth review (and for being the first one too *huggles*).

I really appreciated your view regarding the OC’s. I wasn’t sure how people would take all these new characters being suddenly thrown at them, but I’m glad that you understand perfectly why I felt I needed too. And hopefully, they won’t become annoying in the future when you do get to know them, lol.

Draco seems pretty well in character to me. He's snotty, hates everyone and loathes everything muggle. That's about as in character as you can get! :)

Lol, I absolutely loved your description there. That’s just the Draco I’ve been trying to make him come across as. Snotty, disdainful towards muggles, and with just that hint of snarkiness. *cue sigh*

First, let me say I just KNEW you were going to cliff hang it on that. Damnit. Second, let's hope James is going by James Potter. And last, just how much do all those people know about Harry, especially Marty and Tyler. Hmmm....

As far as the OC - well there are a lot of them and it's still tricky to keep them straight, but I think that has to do with the time since I read chapter one more than anything. *encourages you to post faster with no subtly whatsoever*

Lol, yeah, the cliffhanger was just too hard to resist. Sorry about that. I’m really hurrying along with the next chapter though, so hopefully the wait won’t be too annoying this time around.

As for James going by James Potter, I admit I wanted to be the teensiest bit original (and I mean teensiest in the tiniest sense, lol) with his last name, so it won’t be “Potter”. However, his last name will be linked to his parents, as they are a part of his life Harry will never be able to let go of.

Anyway, thanks. Am flattered by the fact you read chapter one more than once *blushes*

Hehe, not that I'm very subtle, but you don't miss a thing do you?

And I'm not making any promises, but after ridding myself of a pesky uni assignment, I hope to finish the next chapter by Monday night. I don't want to leave it as long as I did with this one. People will forget it exists otherwise, lol.

I think you're doing an excellent job with this! Yeah, there were a lot of new characters, but that's to be expected since they're at a muggle university, yes? So I rather liked that! Definitely looking forward to the next chapter now that Draco's found Harry! Update soon!!! ^.^

Your originals are ok, as long as they don't take over the fic. But that's just me, so ignore me :D

And don’t worry, I completely agree with you. I never like OC’s that take over a story, so that definitely won’t be happening in this story. Harry and Draco will be the predominant characters, cause I love them so much ;)
