I bought the equipment to transfer VHS to PC and could not get the damn sound and picture to synch up right. What are you using?

I am using a... by now at least two-year-old device called the WinTV Go Plus.

The sound IS still kind of an issue, because the way I have it set up the device will record any internal sounds the computer triggers and add them to the movie. Since Internet Explorer makes a little clicky noise whenever you go back and forth across webpages, I kind of have to do non-internet things while it records.

I'm still working out recording options. For now I'm just using one of the defaults, but I assume one of the AVI options will let me record a movie on a bigger scale... right now the output files are only 352 by 240.
