Sorry about the lack of a follow-up.  Turns out I was "allowed back" and worked through July 25, which turned out to be my last day on the job.  AGAIN he wanted to review what I was doing.  Seems he didn't want to have to give me health insurance - which he PROMISED - and didn't want to pay me the minimum that he promised me.  So, he let me go and ( Read more... )

That sounds like a job my wife left a little over a year and a half ago, almost exactly like it. When she left, they replaced her with three people, too. Yeah, totally ridiculous.

They never realize how much they're loading on you until you step out from under it and their world falls apart. Unemployment is no fun but neither is overwork and abuse. Fuck 'em, it's best to be out of there.
