Emmy, don't read this until you've seen Utopia.
That episode was FOR THE MOTHERFUCKING WIN. For the past month, I've been thinking, "This is the best Who episode EVER" EVERY SINGLE WEEK! WOW. This was EXACTLY what good telly is!
And it's a THREE PARTER. THREE PARTS! No final resolution for TWO MORE WEEKS.
The pacing was magnificent and they really had me going with every single mis-direct. And I had been unsure about the casting of John Simm because he's so much Sam Tyler in my head, but WOW. For the two minutes we saw him, he was PERFECT. Holy crap! Why is it not next Saturday yet?!?
There was sadly no mention of Thomas More, but the entire episode was so win that I don't care.
