Yeah, you do. All cellphones are able to send text messages. What you probably mean is that you don't have a text messaging plan with your call plan? With Travis being gone six days at a time, we -really- rely on our text messaging. Sometimes if he doesn't have enough of a signal to call (like in most of Montana, grrr) we text.

Well I know we don't have the plan to text but I am not so sure how we could anyway. Phone is so old.... lol

If you're going to post anything extraordinary, remember to set your defaults to keep the text-posts friends-only. Or remember to post using P.friends at the start, I think.

Text-posting is a lot of fun, if you can be extremely terse. :)
