XD so my dog has still been obsessed with the rats and sniffing at their cage. He digs at the carpet trying to get closer to them. And I'm at the computer, doing whatever. Ranger is at the cage but not growing yet so I don't make him leave

hehe, poor doggie. they're like that, other animals see them as a threat when they are actually quite friendly.

It wouldn't surprise me if he had been - I once did that to a hamster (put my face right beside the cage bars, I mean) and walked away with a nice long bite mark. I never did that again, and as dogs usually have much more common sense than I do, I don't think he will either, hah. ^^
