The package is wrapped in the remains of the weekend edition of the newspaper, and tied with plastic string that looks like it was soaked in something out of the gutter -- it's dry now, thankfully -- and once she opens the paper she'll find that the box is nothing more than ragged cardboard that once held some sort of automotive part. The label has been ripped (picked) off and discarded.

Slender fingers open the container and she stares quizzically at the bundle of sticks and paper and fuzz that sits in the center.

It takes her a moment to realize what it is.

A nest.

There is a note tucked in, ink scrawled in halting script against the back of an old receipt.

Olga quietly folds the paper and tucks it back into the branches, beside two brown-white feathers that are woven among the fibers that make up the nest. She won't leave this with the bar.

It's too important.
