I've been messing around with mpeg4 compression, and here is the first 16mm movie I did at SFSU:

"The Mugging"

You will need to save this by right clicking and then play it.Shot on a Bolex and edited "in camera" (Meaning we had to shoot it as you see it play, the film was never cut. This is one daylight roll.) It was a while ago, how many of you ( Read more... )

I agree, we were using just prime lenses. Though, the one bad thing about the bolex is the need to gaff tape them to all hell so you don't get sun exposed film.

What the hell program do I watch this with? Quicktime doesn't really work on my computer.

Mpeg4 is known better I think as the Divx standard on the web. You can download this free player at http://www.divx.com/divx/

Hopefully that will work better than quicktime.
