This is around my 5th or 6th attempt playing Chrono Trigger.  I am happy to report that I was able to make it past the future and am quite enjoying myself.  As per my bad RPG habit, I always put my playable character's names in CAPS so that I will not miss references to them in the dialogue.  This makes it more amusing when AYLA speaks and refers ( Read more... )

Just finished Twilight in a span of approximately 2 days.  I know some of my students read it and they talked to me when they saw a copy of Twilight sitting on my desk.  I assumed it was a cliche teenager love story, and I knew the best way to verify it.  Today, when one of them asked if I finished reading yet, I asked her if x, y, and z happens.   ( Read more... )

Had an awesome time in Baltimore with Jon and Katie.  Johns Hopkins has a gorgeous campus and Baltimore has scrumptious seafood.  The raw oysters were some of the best I've ever had, and I know my seaward soul is still in Ryleigh's getting tickets for more oysters.  One of the oysters had a pea crab in it when they opened a sting ray oyster.  It ( Read more... )
