And heres what Jaymie/Parsephoni wanted to know about. ^_^:
David Carradine: David Carradine is an actor well known for his roles as the lead role in the television series Kung Fu and its sequel Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. He was also the main villain in the Kill Bill movies and hes also one of my personal favorite actors. ^^
Chobits: An anime and manga series created by manga artists CLAMP, it is about Hideki Motosuwa, a japanese prep student who yearns on owning a Persocom, short for 'personal computer', it is an adorable android female thats distinguished by their cute looking ears that is used as a personal computer. However, Hideki is broke and cannot afford one, until he finds an adorable young woman with long blonde hair in a heap of garbage. At first, he thought that it was a murder victim but then soon finds out that it is a persocom once he brings her home. After activating the persocom, the Persocom instantly admires Hideki. However, the Persocom doesn't say many words, but the words she mostly says is 'Chi'. So, Hideki pretty soon calls her 'Chi'. Pretty soon as Hideki and Chi slowly get used to living with each other, more characters with persocoms and interactions with persocoms come around and pretty soon comes a pretty emotional and romantic love story. ^_^
Fantastic Four: The superhero group created by Marvel Comics, consisting of Reed Richards, his girlfriend and soon wife Susan Storm Richards, her brother Johnny Storm and their friend Benjamin J. Grimm. While out in space, observing a cosmic storm, their spaceship was bombarded with cosmic rays that emitted from the storm. Their ship soon crashed landed on earth and the four soon found out that they were given extraordinary powers. Reed was given super elasticity, enabling him to stretch any part of his body, Sue was given invisiblity, Johnny is able to transform himself into a bieng of living fire, while Ben was transformed into a hideous rocky golem. Due to this, Ben soon names himself 'The Thing', Johnny soon names himself 'The Human Torch', Sue names herself the 'Invisible Woman' and also soon 'Mrs. Fantastic', shortly after she marries Reed, who names himself 'Mr. Fantastic' and they soon name themselves 'The Fantastic Four'.
What I like about the Fantastic Four is that while they are superpowered superheroes, they are also like a standard family with their own problems: problems such as not only super villains such as Dr. Doom and Galactus, but they also face problems such as a neighbor who thinks of them as a health hazard and threat, personal problems and even financial problems. But even though there have been times that they've disbanded and reformed, the original Fantastic Four have always pulled through thick and thin.....plus in the live action movie, Jessica Alba does a really hot Invisible Woman, although, I prefer her as Nancy Callaway from Sin City. ^_~
Chi: Chi is used to describe many things, such as the energy, sometimes known as 'ki' that fuels many martial artists attacks, such as characters from Street Fighter and Dragonball, as well as many other martial arts related franchises. Chi is also the name of the adorable persocom from the anime series 'Chobits'. ^_^
Rob Van Dam: Rob Van Dam is a kickboxer and pro wrestler, known for wrestling in many promotions, including ECW and the WWE. Instantly known for his charisma and extreme energy, Rob Van Dam is known for attacking his opponents with his martial arts combos as well as his high flying techniques. He is also known for wearing leotards which feature the yin yang symbol on them as well as having a Zen like personality. He has always been an inspiration and one of my own personal favorite pro wrestlers. ^^ As well as owning his own comic book store, RVD, as hes well known as, also has his own type of weight lift, known as the Van Dam Lift, where he lifts a dumbell off the floor while holding a splits in between two chairs. His current record, where he is the title holder, is 166.5 lbs. ^^
Rival Schools: Also known as Justice Gakuen in Japan, this fighting video game series from Capcom is a story of students and teachers from various schools fighting for justice. When many students start disappearing from school, the students and teachers decide to take matters into their own hands and travel through various schools in Japan to solve the mystery of missing students. With wonderfully written and made characters, such as Taiyo High Schools Batsu Ichimonji and Hinata Wakaba to Pacific High Schools Roy Bromwell and Tiffany Lords, by choosing as two characters to battle opponents with, you fight through standard 2 out of three rounds, with techniques and special moves while once your vigor bar is filled, you can unleash super moves or team up with your partner to either damage your opponent further, raise your vigor meter or even recover lost health! Released in the arcades around 1998 and later on in the year for the Sony Playstation, Rival Schools featured many fun combinations and modes, but its characters stood out most of them all, even including Street Fighter Alpha's fighting school girl Sakura Kasugano to help fight out. The first game in the series was named Rival Schools: United by Fate which was also soon the inspiration for the name of a Indy Post-Hardcore band. There was soon a sequel to Rival Schools known as Project Justice also known as Moero! Justice Gakuen! which was released for the arcades and the Sega Dreamcast.
Fire Emblem: One of my personal favorite role playing games from Nintendo, Fire Emblem was set in a wonderfully crafted and illustrated mideival atmosphere which featured many character classes such as Lords, Assassins, Mages, Dancers, Falcon and Wyvern Riders and various other character classes. Like its counterpart Final Fantasy, each story of the Fire Emblem series has different stories and characters.
Unlike Final Fantasy games, you move your characters on a strategy like grid and move your characters to fight and defeat enemies while achieving various requirments, such as capturing the enemys stronghold, or protecting characters for a set amount of turns.
There are, however, no resurrections in the Fire Emblem series, which definitely sets some strategy to be required for the Fire Emblem games, so when a unit falls down in battle, they are dead for good. Wonderful stories, wonderful characters and incredible music, is how I can mostly describe Fire Emblem. ^_^
