It always feels frightening at first when you step into a new way of living, but once you've been there a little while you'll notice you're not quite as far from the safety net as you think.
I guess there are many things you could look back on your life and think. "I wish I hadn't bothered to take any risks in the hope of getting what I most desire" seems unlikely to catch on as the Eighth Habit of Highly Successful People.
Good for you. Hang in there, and I'm sure it will work out for you!
If you are thinking of doing that, I think you'll have to swallow your pride about using your credit card/having an overdraft. I did the same and it's been a small price to pay for what I've acheived since going part-time. I still think it was a bit silly turning down the 4 days at the council; that was easy money!
