Hey, getting dirty and drunk at a festival is fun and im the old age of 24 ;) but no..no mud. Mud not fun.

Radio one big day out in sunderland was funny. SO much mud, soooo many teens in little tiny crochet shoes and gypsy skirts that would have been headed for the bin when they got home. Bless them.

I got very angry about the disribution of Big Weekend tickets, so much so that I got a written apology from Radio 1!!!

I camped for 3 years, and Bramham Park is just a pants place to camp!!! too many hills!!!

Wow, well done on the writen apology. I only got tickets as my boyfriend works for the Sunderland Echo...so won a ticket for the sunday.

Ah, i've never been to the new leeds site you see. And thinking about it now, it would be lovely to have fun all day and not have to worry about trying to keep clean because you know you have another two days to get through yet. A shower at the end of the day would be bliss.

The Hilton! Thats some good internet trawlage that is :)

Its so much nicer to know you have a comfy bed and a cup of tea to get back to...
Last year we stayed at a travelodge and that was fun, but for some reason this year they are charging £81 a night!
The Hilton was only £50 per night!
Its right next to the old site, and a very short drive from the new site!

I dont have anything against camping, its just camping at Bramham Park for the festival...

It's not nice when the only place to camp is on a hillside...

We like our comfiness too much!

Urgh yeah, i just remembered. A long time back at leeds 2002 we made the misfortune of camping, (well we had no choice there was limited space) at the foot of one of the many hills. It rained a lot that year. My tent managed to stay water free, but one of our friends...well it could have doubled up as a kids paddling pool come the end of day one.

Hotel + british weather + it always rains at festivals = Hotel very very wise choice.

ooh i was at Leeds '02! We camped in the quiet camping, where the camper vans are, and i remember it rained when The Strokes were playing!!!

It was also the year they found that lad dead in his tent from heart faliure. 6 tents away from us. There was police and ambulances everywhere...
