I spent over an hour trawling the internet this morning looking for a hotel to book for when we are at leeds festival (we are getting too old for this camping lark... leave it to the young ones who think getting muddy and drunk at a festival is 'cool!' bless them

Radio one big day out in sunderland was funny. SO much mud, soooo many teens in little tiny crochet shoes and gypsy skirts that would have been headed for the bin when they got home. Bless them.

Ah, i've never been to the new leeds site you see. And thinking about it now, it would be lovely to have fun all day and not have to worry about trying to keep clean because you know you have another two days to get through yet. A shower at the end of the day would be bliss.

Last year we stayed at a travelodge and that was fun, but for some reason this year they are charging £81 a night!
The Hilton was only £50 per night!
Its right next to the old site, and a very short drive from the new site!

Hotel + british weather + it always rains at festivals = Hotel very very wise choice.

It was also the year they found that lad dead in his tent from heart faliure. 6 tents away from us. There was police and ambulances everywhere...
