We had our housewarming party yesterday. Both of us took the week off of work in order to prep for it, and we kept incredibly busy with yard work, shopping, cleaning, food prep, errands, etc. There was only one day that actually felt like a vacation, and it was because we resolved not to do any work all day for the sake of our sanity. I read this so I hope I belong in the "good" group! ;) Really, I'm sorry I didn't help you more... mostly I didn't want to be in the way. It was a great party! And the house looked wonderful :)

As for the beer dilemma, maybe we could offer to take some off your hands. We'd pay you of course. If you'd like to "sell" us any, just bring it with you on Saturday. We usually like a cold brew at the end of the week, or to offer some when company comes.

Yeah, I should probably have mentioned that the people I don't like hanging out with much don't read my journal. :) And don't worry about not helping more - it's a small kitchen, and there was only so much other people could do.
