Fortunatly, Houston is on the lesser side of the storm and its weakened to a cat 3. Still, its a hurricane and a dangerous one at that. but at least its not as bad as what New Orleans got with Katrina.
While none of the folks down there are totally out of the woods yet it seems that they've come through it fairly well. There's still danger from spin off storms and flooding but what I've seen so far would make it sound like they made it in good shape.
Thoughts and prayers continue for all who are down in the storm area.

We're still showing the effects of Juan in the missing trees and patched houses. Our power tends to go out easier in storms now as well.
