I started off reading the manga and I liked some of the earlier volumes (…). Tohma and Shu seemed to regress in age and Shuichi gets shorter and shorter!!!
I didn’t like the art in the first volumes but I think it was great around vol. 6-7. I’m quite indifferent to Murakami’s new shota style but I can’t stand the inconsistency in the art. Shuichi and Tohma (and recently Noriko) are toddlers, the height difference is impossible to ignore and I wouldn’t be surprised if she started drawing four fingers in the hands of her characters. Murakami has become SO LAZY. And that’s just the art. I consider the plot of Gravi Ex a giant middle finger to her fans.
I also thought the more we were told about Eiri and Yuki, the less convincing it got. Eiri's continuing obsession with Yuki seemed rather... unlikelyYou mean I’m not the only one who thinks Eiri’s obsession with Kitazawa is over the top!? * ( ... )
