What a exciting morning to find your new story! I will save it for my later enjoyment. Thank you very much. I love all of your Alexander stories. They are very beautiful and romantic. Sorry for my funny English. My mother tongue is not English.

Thank you to you too! It makes me happy to know the stories give you pleasure! Don't ever worry about your English - many of my internet friends are not English as a first language and I am full of admiration for how they manage to post reviews (and stories!) in English so well! Actually it makes me with my one language feel rather ashamed!!!

Ooh...I love your kiddy!Alexander stories. They're so cute! And I'm honestly not creative enough to come up with a child's story, so just the myth you created is awesome.

Hi!

I do love to write Alexander and Hephaestion as children, so I'm glad you enjoy reading these fics! I have never tried to write anything remotely resembling a fairytale before - I didn't think I had the imagination or the right way to tell a moral tale without it sounding too obvious, or even the right style! I have never been good at writing anything about magic or fantasy. So I was pleased people liked this story so much! Perhaps we all have one fairytale in us (even you?)

Heh...I tried to write a fairy tale in creative writing class before, but it kinda flopped.

Part of the reason I found you, though, is cause I'm writing a Long Ass Story, attempting to pull the mythology out of Achilles and Patroclus, and I got stuck on writing children, so I turned to Alexander fanfiction (there is like...no Iliad stuff at all. At least not anything meaningful) Anyway, I still go back and read them sometimes...

I just wrote a lot...

Sorry for the long wait for a reply! I agree with you on the lack of good fics about the Illiad or the Trojan War in general. When I "rediscovered" Greek mythology a few years ago, after forgetting all about it, I looked for modern fiction about it and for all the books I bought or skimmed through, I found hardly anything worth reading, especially about the Greeks. The ancient plays and so on are great and not hard to read, but I am amazed there's so little modern stuff ( ... )

Thank you so much! I wasn't sure about the sequel to this, but the idea came and I have to admit I was feeling rather sorry for the characters in Lanike's story!!! I guess I'm just a big softie!! I wanted the Golden Prince to be prepared to make a real sacrifice to get his silver boy back - I thought Alexander would appreciate what was the equivalent of being forced to give up his crown!

Will post more soon I promise! Thanks for continuing to enjoy!!!

Both these stories are so delightful.

I like that your Alexander is a little older than your Hephaistion.

Just so perfect.

I think these two little boys are just sweet as ambrosia.

AND I loved the nursemaid threatening Leonidas. He always comes off as such a villain in the histories and all the stories I've ever read. NEVER read a nice Leonidas and that nursemaid would HAND HIM HIS HEAD.

Hope you get to more in the fandome.

Thank you for your lovely words Eva - I'm sorry I've taken so long to reply but my computer is now, as they say, pushing up the daisies. In other words, it's broken! Thick as I am, I forgot my LJ password too, and ( ... )

I just wanted to let you know that I really like your stories.

I have been unable to leave reviews on fanfiction.net but I just wanted to let you know that I find your use of humor and "humanity" in your stories really get your point across.

Thanks so much!

Thanks again - your praise goes straight to my heart. I don't mean that in a sentimental way, but in the way that you have noticed the two things I do try hard to keep in my stories ( ... )
