I do love to write Alexander and Hephaestion as children, so I'm glad you enjoy reading these fics! I have never tried to write anything remotely resembling a fairytale before - I didn't think I had the imagination or the right way to tell a moral tale without it sounding too obvious, or even the right style! I have never been good at writing anything about magic or fantasy. So I was pleased people liked this story so much! Perhaps we all have one fairytale in us (even you?)

Part of the reason I found you, though, is cause I'm writing a Long Ass Story, attempting to pull the mythology out of Achilles and Patroclus, and I got stuck on writing children, so I turned to Alexander fanfiction (there is like...no Iliad stuff at all. At least not anything meaningful) Anyway, I still go back and read them sometimes...
I just wrote a lot...

it is really a beautiful story and finally hephaistion was trying to forgive alexander on want he had done to him. It is really a great story about the golden prince were he gave up his sunlight to be with silver boy again. really great sequel
Hoping you make another Alexander Fic. you really great writer :)

I like that your Alexander is a little older than your Hephaistion.
Just so perfect.
I think these two little boys are just sweet as ambrosia.
AND I loved the nursemaid threatening Leonidas. He always comes off as such a villain in the histories and all the stories I've ever read. NEVER read a nice Leonidas and that nursemaid would HAND HIM HIS HEAD.
Hope you get to more in the fandome.

I have been unable to leave reviews on fanfiction.net but I just wanted to let you know that I find your use of humor and "humanity" in your stories really get your point across.
Thanks so much!
