Hi Moon! I saw your note at Gurabite; I'm about to post a story of my own there. I'd been wondering whether you'd e-mailed me. A combination of computer woes and a change in internet service providers had led to my losing any e-mails I received at the e-mail address you have in the last couple of months. I can be reached at my LJ username (lawless523) at gmail dot com, however. I haven't gotten around to setting up my e-mail with our new ISP yet.

I don't have time to read your story at the moment but I will read it and comment on it, either here or at Gurabite, in the near future. I've been thinking about you and am glad you're back!

Brilliant! I can't say enough good things about it, including all the funny bits.

Any boy who was unlucky enough to feel for him what he had felt for Yuki deserved to have at least one golden memory to treasure.

That line made me tear up.

And yes, K does have both Eiri's and Shuichi's numbers. He may come across as brash and vulgar but he's no fool.

I loved the scene with the psychiatrist and how that played out. Your take on New York is similar, though not identical, to mine.

I also loved how you picked up on Eiri's diffidence and lack of empathy. (I once wrote that Eiri wasn't a model of empathy - a little British understatement there, though I'm not British.) And it never ceases to amaze me how you keep Eiri IC without much in the way of swearing. Hardly any of the rest of us can manage to pull that off!

I know you posted this at Gurabite (I'll try to leave a review there too eventually) but I'd love it if you posted at gravi_muse_meet. It hasn't been all that active lately and it'd be wonderful to have you post a link to ( ... )

Unfortunately, I can't post it for you unless I post as myself or unless I knew your password as well as your username, neither of which strike me as particularly good ideas, but there are two ways for you to create a link to your personal journal without just using the URL. One will look like a LiveJournal cut and is therefore known as a "fake cut"; the other looks like a word or sequence of words, either highlighted or underlined, depending on the style used by the community where you're posting it.

Let's say what you want to use as text is the title, "Autumn Afternoon".

Version 1 (fake cut) (these instructions are all in HTML; this can also be done using the Rich Text Editor, but the HTML method, while requiring more typing, is easier to explain):

([a href="insert URL here"]Autumn Afternoon[/a]) (replace all the brackets with equivalent < or > symbols; if I use them here, it'll create the fake cut except it won't lead anywhere and you won't be able to see the instructions ( ... )
