Aw, this is utterly lovely! Your quieter, honest-seeming Twelve is really interesting. Loved the part about Clara having seen his other regenerations but still not being ready, and the knee-tapping and the dancing and talking about kidneys, hee! :)

Thank you! It was fun, writing with nothing to go of off, although Moffat seems to have already debunked my theory of having a quieter Doctor if his recent comments are to be believed.

Ah, was it something like grumpy and unpredictable Moffat said? I'd really like your Twelve to be canon, though... I kind of like grumpy, but he could be quieter as well. ;)

Close. His exact quote was "a fiercer, madder, less reliable Doctor". Which leaves me confused, since Eleven was pretty unreliable at times, especially when it came to being honest with his companions. And, well...we've had two hyperactive Doctors in a row, so can't we have someone a touch calmer? (assuming Moffat's "madder" means 'more crazy than Eleven', not 'grumpy like One')

I'm pretty sure Moffat compared Twelve to Nine in an interview somewhere, which makes me less worried, since I adore Nine. I'm sure I'll love him no matter what he's like, though.
