I'm up to episode 4 of Gundam Wing, and I've already taken a liking to Duo and Quatre (whose name I keep wanting to pronounce 'Quarter'). So far I'm enjoying it, and I'm also puzzled as to why my younger self didn't like what I saw of it years back. Perhaps the dubbing turned me off?

I think the original voices are a lot more subtle than the dubbed. Duo especially benefits from the original voice. He's still the comic relief of the series, but he's less of a clown. The one voice I prefer in the dub is Quatre's.

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series, especially since I don't have to wait a week between episodes.

I need to catch up on that, but glad to hear that you're picking it up! I'm starting to realize that I like male characters a lot more than female characters, which is both amusing and weird.

Oh goodness!! Had I known I would ever meet another person who is getting into Gundam Wing, I would have jumped for joy! Oh wait, I am!! I'm so happy you're liking the show. I am a huge fan from way back when. My favorites will always be Heero and Trowa (Trowa is my nickname from high school) but I used to call my sister Duo (her favorite) because she used to have long brown hair that she would want me to braid.

I can't wait to hear more!

It's weird, getting into an older show that still has an active fandom, but I'm looking forward to watching it all! *jumps for joy along with you*
