Since I can't think of anything useful about the state of the world. I will try phoning the office of Foreign Affairs tomorrow as suggested below. I hate phone calls, but supposedly they get more attention than email.
Also, "Gorillas"! As DC comics found out in the 60s, gorillas on the cover mean increased sales. (Although, contrarywise, there is no actual empirical evidence for increased sales at used car dealers via giant inflatable purple gorillas.) I suppose it also applies to keynote or introductory speeches.

The connection here was that apparently in the 'twenties, the New York Museum of Natural History sent an expedition of women to hunt gorillas, with the roundabout goal of protecting the species by appealing to the sexism of big-game hunters. The idea was once a mere woman killed a gorilla, hunting them would no longer be seen as cool. Anyway, one of those women was James Tiptree Jr's mother.
