Good for you, for spotting the trap, and for passing on info about it. It stinks that people do such things, and yes, makes life so much more tediously difficult than it has to be.

They emailed me again. I basically replied "I'm onto you, here's the proof, don't contact me again." It'll be interesting to see if they try to bluster about it.
