*waves* Been a while since I've given one of these. =\

Okay - I haven't had time, to be honest, in the past couple of months to work on much of anything. I do have plans and hopefully I now have time - that's the good news. So, in case you're wondering about anything in the works - read on.

Bittersweet Love - I'm going to be honest. I have no current ( Read more... )

I've been that far away from UR that I didn't even know you'd been updating - how slack am I? :S Once exams are over, I shall have to bring myself up to speed. But generally, I don't like sequels. If it's a series I can understand keeping it going, but I don't know. I'm not overly fussed on sequels (maybe it's because I'm too stubborn to change my opinion that a second one can never live up to the first one).

Ride the Wind is coming back. :D

And me being asked the question of whether a James story should be written is like asking if the chocolate should be eaten.

The chocolate should definitely be eaten. ;)

Aw, it's okay, I'll forgive you. You've been quite busy with school (and I'm quite proud of you, too!).

Okay, strike one against a sequel. Like I was saying, it would just be...more like my version of books six and seven, if I did. But that's not how wdmc started; the themes of wdmc have nothing to do, really, with the actual series which is why I'm hesitant on the idea myself. And I agree - one can generally figure out if a sequel was written primarily because they wanted to continue, or if the story flowed in a way that it needed to be a series. And you're right, in most cases, it does seem that sequels (as a general rule in life) don't add up to the first one.

Yes. Ride the Wind is absolutely coming back. And soon, I hope. *grins*

*laughs* Okay, okay. I see your point and I agree. It's the POV that'll make writing that one difficult. Fun, perhaps, though...hmmm...

*huggles* We don't talk enough anymore, Kirsten. *loves*

What Dreams May Come Sequel kjpotter July 13 2007, 02:23:22 UTC
Hi! I've just read What Dreams May Come, and first of all, I am itching to read the last chapter. And second of all, I would like to add my vote to having a sequel. Granted, I don't know what will happen in this last chapter, but I do know that you've left a lot of subplots left unsatisfied. For instance, what will be the reactions from the rest of the wizarding world as a whole? What will Voldemort do? What will training be like with James? What will James' reaction be to seeing Harry fly? What will happen between Harry, James, and Tiffany? How does Ron feel about it? Seems Ron would be quite jealous, as the only thing Ron's ever had over Harry was family, and now Harry has that too. Will James go back to being an auror? And what of Hermione and Ginny? If you do do a sequel, it would be nice to see Harry talking to his Dad about Ginny, should you choose to make that the pairing...

Anyway, I beg and plead and bake you cookies -- Please write a sequel. I'll be sure to read it, even if the updates are few and far between. =
