FIVE DAYS AND LIFE CHANGES

Jul 16, 2007 01:17

I am a complete spaz these days. I've been working a lot but that hasn't stopped me from eating, breathing and sleeping Harry Potter. In fact, not too much time (I'm talking minutes, people) goes by without me saying something about Harry Potter. And seeing OotP did not help. It only gave me more reason to talk more. Poor Adam - he has no reason ( ( Read more... )

I can't believe it's it, either. I'm sitting here finishing up HBP, and the defining aspect of my childhood is coming to a point (not an end!) on Friday night. I'm also going crazy. That weird feeling that all the years of theories seem silly on the eve of the last book... what will this fandom be without the mysteries and theories? It's all very strange.

But, huggles and cookies and bumps to you, have fun!

*grins* I think our fandom will still be as crazy and wank-filled as it always has. JKR will leave us with some room to play and she'll leave us with plenty to debate about (plus there's always AU's)and you know that no one in our fandom ever agrees.

It's still so sad, though, you're right. I'll miss the theories. *nods* And yes! Nothing is coming to an end, it's just changing...drastically. *nods* Yes, that's it.

Huggles and cookies to you, too, Julie! *laughs* Bumps. Awwwww. *wipes away tear from remembering the old days*

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I'm flisting at warp speed and missing A LOT of people's entries, but my computer battery's dying, I'm sweating BALLS by the pool and my personal time's almost over because my sister will be coming home soon, and AH.

A couple of things though:
1. The movie kiiiiind of was a let down
2. I'm glad I got to reserve my copy of Deathly Hallows, but I'm pissed at the Philippines for not keeping their bookstores open till midnight. Instead, I have to wait until SEVEN IN THE MORNING to get my copy. Which means that I can't gloat over getting my book twelve hours before my friends back home. Boo.
3. I'm really sweating, it's gross. And the dog just shat.

*laughs* *hugs Mands* I've missed you! I do hope that you've been enjoying your holiday, though, even if you're melting and you won't get DH any earlier than the rest of us. *grins* Yeah, I've finally just came to the conclusion that the movie was pretty good. There are quite a few things about it I didn't like, but overall, I did enjoy. Besides, I'll still buy it the day it comes out on DVD and I realize the movies will NEVER do the books justice. That's why I try to convince everyone I know to read the books. *grins* Hope we get to talk soon!!

Enjoy the book!
