I promise that in the midst of everything that I've been doing and that's been keeping me busy, I've been trying to write.

I really am. I'm trying to write, but it just...won't come out. At least not right, at all.

I need a muse.

And it so slipped past me that WDMC is a year old now. Awww.

Writing can be stubborn. I don't believe I've ever had something like writer's block (i.e. where you can't write at all) so I have limited advice. What always works for me is to write whatever is in my head. Sometimes it's something that happens much later in the story, but its what I feel like writing.

Anyway, once you get started writing it's like getting the ball rolling, it will find a momentum of its own if you just nudge it along a bit.

Aw, thanks Courtney. I really appreciate the nudge to keep...nudging? lol. I think I'm feeling better about it. I kept thinking about it all day. I'm not thinking that if I change my outline a bit, I'll feel more excited again.

And thus, be able to write happily.

But they were always worth it. *grins*

I think I did what you suggested - I think music helped me along today. They changed the music at work, so it was different stuff than I'm used to and I ran with it. =)
