I remember forking out over $2500 for my ex's engagement ring.

The ring she WANTED was over $6000.

That's STILL cheap compared to higher end jewelry stores.

Like I'm talking debating between a car or a house, and an engagement ring. A FANCY fucking car.

The price people pay for compressed coal...

if kyle forked out over 2grand on a ring...i don't know if i could accept that. it's too pricey for a ring. honestly. sure the one that i pointed out is 600+ dollars right now but after christmas (sears) it'll be over a grand. i suppose 600 isn't THAT pricey but it still pricey! i can't even imagine paying a hundred dollars on a piece of jewlery for ME let alone getting to pay something like that for a ring.

ps: i'd go with a house, if it meant living with the person i loved most.
