doughnuts and other fatty foods in dreams represent wish fullfillment, but not the 'normal' kind our good friend Freud speaks of, but a new generational 'Fattyism' wish fullfillment. However, it seems that you are at a very early stage of Fatty development since you are indeed wishing for Fatty foods instead of actually eating them. Solution: convert to Fattyism, eat all Fatty foods without guilt, and these nasty wish fullfilling dreams will be over since you will have, in fact, fullfilled your wishes during your waking hours.
