the appearing and disappearing posts

what is the deal with LJ and friendspages? my today's post keeps appearing and disappearing from my friends page. and at least half the time my friends' posts don't appear on my friendspage either, but i can access them directly on their journals. do the rest of you have this problem?

I've noticed this problem on my other non-paid accounts. this journal has a huge friends list, so I really wouldn't be able to track who's showing up and who isn't. But my other journals (a private one for Dann and a diet tracker) only have one friend each.

bah!!! a not so subtle way for LJ to encourage paid accounts?

i made a "friends only" post this morning. can you tell me if it shows up on your friends page? if not, can you access it directly through my journal? i wonder if it makes a difference if the post is public or "friends only." i'm getting the idea that it might be the "friends only" posts that cause this problem...and maybe it only doesn't show up on the friendspage of people with non-paid accounts. it sucks!

btw, after the thyroid med being added, have you had success with weight loss?

Since I went on the thyroid meds I've kept a bad diet, so no I haven't lost weight but I haven't gained it either. ;-)
