I won't go see anything Tom or Travolta are in, and I have not for years (I did go see "Eyes Wide Shut", because I respect Kubric, but I felt dirty).

Fuck Scientology. None of them get any of my money, if I can help it.

the grand irony was his bragging about his expertise on psychiatry, etc.....the truth is until you have experienced mood disorders, mental illness, etc. through first hand experience or the experience of a person you are close to, then you don't know the first thing about psychiatry, etc.

i was kindof hoping that he would have a "fall from grace" because of all this, but it didn't seem to happen....he was teetering right on the edge though.....

interesting that you found this post. even more interesting that you work in the french quarter and may be someone i see without knowing who you are. more interesting still is your film knowledge. i belonged to the no film and video society for years. are you a member? i'm going to add you as a friend if that's ok with you.

I agree. I'm also pissed at the interviewer, Matt L., for not researching the topic beforehand, so that Cruise could say whatever he felt like without being contradicted.

yeah, matt sat there like a well trained puppy and let tom say whatever he liked.

if you don't mind i'll add you to my friend's list. i've been looking for new journals to read and i've seen your comments in paperballet's journal before.

I studied psyc through grad school before I decided I would prefer to make money some other way. I still love talking to people, but I use unconventional methods (it was always an issue because in my state, any random do-gooder can file a complaint with the board of licensure).

I love your bio paragraph. I've added you, I hope thats ok.
