My problem with kanji is that I always end up focusing on one reading or the other and then I have this mental wall where printed words just don't make any sense. Stupid English letters functions derailing my studies. :< Grrr.

Good luck with your interview, dear. Also, erm, can I ask what the JLPT4 is? A Japanese exam? Still, good luck if you decide to register ::hugs::

The JLPT is the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. It's given in four levels, with level 4 being the "easiest" and level 1 the most difficult. It's...sort of a verification of the fact that yes, you do sort of know Japanese, and it's required of most foreigners who do anything in Japan except teach English.

Or, it can be a nerdy personal goal, for no real reason except that apparently I crave stress. >_>

Oooooooooooooh I see. Craving stress isn't good, but if you want to do it, I say go for it! I'm sure you'll be fine once it actually comes around. Study hard~

My dad is sort of ridiculously awesome, although he lives to give me shit.

I had told everyone that my plans for the night were to play a few hands of poker and then nap on the sofa while the game finished! The end days are nigh!
