Inception. Let us talk about it!

I just got back from the theater and just. Wow. That was one hell of a movie. I just kept finding myself so ... impressed with what film can do these days, what it can be. aw, glad the movie is good. It looked like it could have been a bit matrix-y/matrix knock-off-y, based on the, like, two previews I've seen, but potentially awesome so I'm glad it's on that side of the scale (also, I did not know Ken Watanabe was in the movie :( I was more trying to figure out of that one dude was the guy from Third Rock From the Sun. Which he is).

It's hot here, too. I hate cooking everyday because it makes my non-air conditioned apartment hot(ter). Every evening I'm like "UGH DINNER. WHAT CAN I MAKE THAT WON'T MAKE MY HOT APARTMENT MORE HOT".

i enjoyed it muchly *nodnod* i can't stop thinking about it. i didn't know that ken was in it originally, but once i did i was dyyyyying to see it even more so. guh. that man. and omg yeah, i kept thinking 'tommy from third rock has done SO WELL for himself!' i know he's in all kinds of stuff, but i really enjoyed him in this.

ugh. the heat. i am also without a/c and i seriously felt heat-strokish in the kitchen earlier but i have this thing where i freaking love to bake and CANNOT SEEM TO STOP MYSELF. UGH. i am already contemplating banana muffins later. it's a problem.

aww...I don't have a mixer (yet) so it's curtailed me baking at this point. It's probably a good thing, otherwise I'd be surrounded by more bake goods than I could eat! I heart banana muffins though.

isn't it amazing how a mixer like, creates magic when you're baking? i never used to use ours and then one day boom! i was hooked. baking is like, a drug at this point. once i start i have a hard time stopping.

i've never made plain old banana muffins! fail. only banana + somethin' else. i also wanna make coconut cake, but we don't have cream cheese for the frosting, which is lame.
