I think that you should go exactly where you want to go and not worry about what anyone will think. If you want to see your brother, do exactly that. You deserve to do what you want to do. You can tell your nanny that and if she doesn't understand then poo poo to her. Easier said then done I'm sure, but still you should do what makes you happy, not what will please others...
