I asked the Spice Girl if I could call her vicous cat Ollie, and was told NO! Her name is Oliver! Oliver Elizabeth. And just as you are with Alisha, whatever the child says, goes. :)
What a lovely child you are raising! Alisha owns a special place in my heart. My heart is big and she has a HUGE part of it. Goodness, have you talked to her about boys yet? They are gonna be knocking your doors down. That is one gorgeous gal! Big in heart and beauty. Must run on her Mamaw's side. :)
Congratulations. He is adorable. And Alisha looks so happy. I love the second picture. You are right about him going to be a bruiser. Have fun with him.

All of our furries get neutered. If I chose to have another pet it's because I decided it was time, not because I was too irresponsible to keep for expanding an already out of control pet population. And I agree, he is going to be way too big to manage in tact. He goes to the Vet Friday to get checked out and shots caught up to date. His transformation will be scheduled then.
What a beautiful story, thanks for sharing your joyful story because it is good to hear good news. I also agree that there is no such thing as a coincidence. Sometimes people sleep-walk through their lives, and a "coincidence" is a call to wake up to the mystery and miracle of life. I also agree that some of the rescue agencies are getting too far out there. I have heard a few stories like that. Being fanatical is costing some animals their chances of having wonderful homes. But, anyway, maybe in this case it was because Cooper Earl was meant to be Alisha's dog!
with both of her dogs it has been after we were turned down by a rescue agency that God just sort of dropped them in our laps and I truly think they were both meant to be hers. Next time, I'm just going to wait for that and not go through the disappointment. I guess my biggest upset is that we've all seen the commercials and felt so bad for all the abandoned and unwanted animals and seen the ads about high kill shelters begging you to adopt an animal. I have heard of, and seen it first hand on rescue websites, that some animals spend their whole lives in the shelter that "rescued" them from the miserable life of being caged by their owners. I don't like caging animals either but being condemned to life in a shelter cage is better home?
what a beauty, bothof them. i have been crazy busy and am just catching up on lj. worked thursday and friday. lord am i out of shape. and with all the gardening. but i love it here and in august, once i get my cna, life will be easier. congrats on your new baby.
Glad you are so happy theremoonchild71057May 25 2008, 19:01:07 UTC
