So I randomly started reading my friends pages again today. Have a lot of people moved to other journal/blogs, or to Twitter? Or are people just not posting as much as they used to?

I remember times when it took me an hour to read thru my friends list posts for 1 day. Now, there's only a handful of posts over the past few days.

Some people spend more time on facebook; I'm mostly here, though I pop in over there. Otherwise, I don't know; people get busy with other things, and neglect their LJs. I've made a conscious effort to post more this month.

I need to get set up on Facebook, at some point, get with the modern era...

I guess I'm an old fart too, but I should probably learn about Facebook adn set up an account someday!

I'm making a conscious effort ot post here again, after being absent for too long. Which wouldn't have affected your recent times.

I'm not about to go to facebook or myspace.

LJ Participation definitely took hit in my friend's list last year - due to exodus to Twitter, Facebook and fears of LJ going away.

In the past couple of months, I've made effort to be more involved here. I have missed the connections and depth.

I've more or less given up.
I play games on facebook and that's about it.

I'm sorry to hear that... are you still in touch with our friends from Stevens and elsewhere? I use LJ because I'm not in touch with anyone... but if I were still nearby, might not bother with it.
