Title: Seeing Red Rating: PG Pairing: Nate, Eliot, mentions of team Verse: Fandoms: Leverage Summary: Nate sees red. Notes: Drabble, spoilers for The Last Damn Job
You know what? From the first time to now (and I've re-watched the scene a few times), whenever I look at that scene I ONLY see Eliot. Seriously. The red shirt just draws my eyes to it.
This is a really, really cool interpretation of his shirt. I DID wonder, why he suddelny wore a color that bright... For me him in red was a signal that he was ready to shed blood - or something like that. Like him wearing this leather holster again, like in the scene where he shot the guns... *shrugs*
This is a really cool idea - him being some sort of flag, like a signal.
Actually now that you mention it I'm thinking I (or someone) needs to write a fic where he wore it to remind Nate about The Warehouse and what happens when Nate goes off the rails.
But I like your interpreation. Do you think it was concious or unconcious?
