We're on our second monitor. The first one was a hand-me-down, but we ended up buying a more sophisticated one (Digital and 2.4 Ghz).

The baby bath that has lavender and chamomile is a gift from GOD, I swear. Whoever developed it needs a great big hug.

Baby nail clippers are great, but make sure you have some firm emery boards too. We couldn't use the clippers at first for our little one, 'cause the shiny metal scared her. *shrug* The emery boards worked ok.

We have baby wash and stuff, but no tub thingy yet. But, since we can't bathe the "kid" yet.. I wasn't going to worry about that yet.

Good idea about the emery boards! I heard doing it when they're asleep is good - not sure how that all works yet.

Ahh yes, the "tub thingy." Soft ones are best.

We still don't have monitors since she's in her bassinet in our room. I don't think they're that urgent to buy.

When my baby was still in her bassinet, I used the monitor when I was outside, washing my car or cleaning in the garage, etc.
