at midnight last night i put on assorted waterproof puffy garments and ran outside into the snowy streets of rural quebec. at the end of one street was an odd network of playgrounds. i ran through knee-deep pristine snow dunes through a small baseball field and collapsed on the ground. i lay on my back and let the snow fall on my face as music
