I think everyone feels that way about their college on some level, and their degree. But the paper isn't what counts, it's what you did while pushing to get that paper, right?
Cause it sounds like working on this video was one of the best experiences of your life :)

well, there's one really important gain. As far as I can tell (and from what I saw) you gained a willing crew to help out on the next few films. If I understood the process more, then definately me included.
