By the way, I'm a big fan of decentralized government and regional differences in culture being ALLOWED. If it's offensive in SF, outlaw it in SF. If it's offensive in Georgia, outlaw it in Georgia. People tend to gravitate to where they fit in. I'm a fan of gay marriage. I hope it's never legalized or criminalized nationwide, however.

But Orson Scott Card? Really?
I am literally saddened. I love him, or his imagination and writing style anyway. But this article, in his gait, just slipped through my brain and dulled all my enthusiasm for him.
