Somewhere between standardized testing and how ridiculously easy it is to get off campus, I realized what a joke AHS is. Well, when they give us a 40-minute "activity period" (i.e. community dance with inevitably shitty music) to fill the time because they're too lame for anything else... that's pretty much a giveaway

I know exactly what you mean with the tongue-tied thing.

I don't exactly think AHS is a joke. I mean, sure, the testing, the administration, and almost all the rules are a joke. And a funny one at that. But seriously, I don't know if I've ever had a class as informative as U.S. history (even if the work can be ridiculous).
