This is the first thing I've written about the rape that wasn't just braindump journalling that I think is worthy of being shared. Comments (positive or not) are welcome.

Actually now that I think about it, it isn't the first thing, but it is the first in a LONG time.

Just because I didn't say no
Doesn't mean it wasn't r*pe

Just because you took me from behind so I couldn't see you do it

Just because I couldn't feel it perfectly
Doesn't mean it didn't happen

Just because I didn't scream
Doesn't mean it didn't hurt

Just because I didn't bleed
Doesn't mean it wasn't violent.

Just because I didn't fight back
Doesn't mean I wanted it.

Just because you're gone
Doesn't mean you're forgotten.

Just because I walked away
Doesn't mean you win.
