Rain rain and chickens in more rain

Well here I am sitting here on my day off and it's pouring. Again. I cannot even believe how much rain we've gotten for July. There were water puddles in the basement again yesterday and my satellite internet has been barely working and cutting off constantly :/ We have GOT to get window well covers THIS WEEK

Those chicken people sound so sweet!

I remember, as a teen, being on my father's farm and listening out for the shouts of the chickens as they laid eggs. They never laid in the henhouse, but all over the farmyard. We used to have to find the one that was shouting and retrace her steps to find the egg. Lol!
