Well I'm finally mixing the baby chickens with the big girls this weekend. At this point in time ALL of them have to spend part of the day behind a fence to minimze damage to the newly planted corn. I must say they hate this, but sure as shit, the first thing they do when they get out is usually to run to pappa's wheat and corn field to scratch

I have 26 adult chickens and 16 babies (now adolescents), as well as the 2 ducks and three guineas.
*cough* That makes 42 *cough cough*
Yeah that sounds a bit much, doesn't it? I honestly wasn't planning on getting more this spring but at this point all the eggs we get now are already sold/accounted for and doesn't leave any to try selling to the campers.
I wasn't supposed to tame this new batch but you can imagine how THAT went ;)
