i have been dealing with family stuff with regards to rob and i get married and to my being pregnant. so far family is doing better than expected but it is still kinda stressful. i don't want my getting married to be a big deal but people are trying to make it into a big thing. there is some good stuff though like my mom offering to pay for robs

Family stuff is always so hard, isn't it? There are so many emotions and so much tricky history behind everything.

yes exactly.
rob and i are realizing we need to sorta be "in the closet" about a lot of choices we are making. like with having a home birth and i am sure there where be other things later on. everyone wants to make sure i have a good doctor and i am glad they worry about me and care about me and want m to be healthy but i wish they knew enough about all the options that i could say yes i have two wonderful midwifes.instead i say i have two wonderful doctors and it doesn't feel like a lie to me.

I think it makes a lot of sense to pick and choose what you share with who. I would do the same thing!
