oh and PS, how do you find the forums?

I'm a member of a huuuuge one known as Ravelry which is also for crotcheters (is there such a word)and it has a waiting list, but I think its worth it.

It has loads of groups even a Brit witch one amongst other things.

I havent joined any of the pagan craft groups within Ravelry because I've had my fill of pagan type forums, but theyre there if you want them.

I'm also a member of a small british knitting forum which I love and I've just joined another one but I doubt I'll do any posting.

I find the small one is devoid of the ego you get in all forums("my knittings better than your knitting" and "Oh you dont use THOSE needles do you") and I stick with that one pretty much and its also light relief when you've had enough of people online in general :D

To be honest, I'm not sure. One I came across during a search for plus size patterns, and its a yahoo group especially for plus sized crochet patterns. They are a lovely group of people, and I havent seen a single act of sniping. You have to be approved before membership and fill in a little questionnaire, but then they formally introduce you to the group via the info you give. And the owners do a great job, they are currently running a competition to seek out new patterns ( ... )

ohhhhh lovey can you send me a link to those patterns please? I used to be able to crochet quite well and hope to take it up again soon.

If you start knitting I have some pretty fantastic free pattern sites as well :)
