Applecrisp

Well we went to our second Small Group last night and I had signed up for snack this week. I decided to make chili dip and applecrisp. I spent a good chunk of the afternoon peeling, choping apples,mixing the dry ingredients and baking the applecrisp. I made a 9 x 13 pan out of a 8 x 8 recipe so that was entertaining. so how are you liking Kalamazoo? We should get together sometime for lunch and catch up...since I'm in the same situation as you...that is the whole subbing/unemployed situation and also have a lot of afternoons free.

On the subject of cooking, I have a few questions about how we translated baking supplies in Germany...my first attempt at a dessert last weekend mostly worked, except for the vanila (not Vanile-Zucker, right? it was in a powder form, though??) and the sweetened condensed milk (did you ever try to buy that?). Anyway, if you have any ideas about the translations of these or what they look like, I would appreciate it! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! =)
