I don't know who said it first  but one day my 16 yr old boy came home with  a t-shirt that said the above statement printed on the front.   I was awed and so proud. I had to resist the urge to do a "snoopy dance" and shout "I did it, I did it!" What did I do you ask? Actually it is a whole village of people who did it, but what we did was give ( Read more... )

Soccer...ah yes, I remember it well! I have three sons and when I see others playing soccer it takes me back to their childhoods.:)
I love that T-shirt slogan! He is your oldest?
I like reading about rising about my doubts and and believing in myself. That is the kind of pep talk that I need as of late.
I will remind myself not to believe that loud crazy voices inside!

he is my oldest. The other is 10, he is the soccer nut. The oldest has made it is goal in life not to expend the least amount if energy possible on a task. Thank goodness for him he is sweet, handsome and knows every song ever written and can sing it! Thus he has reeding qualities. My little guy is just the opposite, he is my energizer bunny, no task to large or too small for that one.
I saw someone changing a poopie diaper at the field....Lord I don't miss those days! You are the heroine, believe it, it's true. Keep looking for the patch of light to step into...the next step to take, we don't always know where it will lead but have faith and trust yourself!
